Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors;
Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On May 25, 2007, Douglas R. Nichols, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Portland General Electric Company (Company), notified the Company of his intent to retire in August 2007. The specific date of Mr. Nichols’ retirement will be mutually agreed upon by Mr. Nichols and the Company within the next few weeks, based in part upon the timing of the appointment of Mr. Nichols’ successor and the requirements for a smooth and orderly transition.
